Position: Intern - YouTube and Social Media
Reporting to: Manager- Digital and Social Media
Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh
Duration: 6 months
Expected Date of Joining: December 01, 2023
Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative intern with a passion for digital media, storytelling, and education. The intern will support the production team in the editing and management of YouTube content and will play a pivotal role in bringing Sesame Workshop's stories to our digital audience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Video Editing:
- Work closely with the production team to edit the raw footage into finished videos tailored for our YouTube audience.
- Add graphics, music, sound effects, and other elements to enhance the video's storytelling.
- Ensure all videos align with Sesame Workshop Bangladesh's branding and quality standards.
2. YouTube Management:
- Upload, schedule, and optimize video content for the Sisimpur YouTube channel and social media.
- Draft engaging titles, descriptions, and metadata to improve discoverability.
3. Collaboration:
- Attend production meetings, offering insights and suggestions for content improvements.
- Collaborate with the social media team to promote video content across various platforms.
- Participate in content brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
4. Reporting:
- Assist in analyzing video performance using YouTube Analytics.
- Prepare weekly reports highlighting views, engagement metrics, and other relevant data.
5. Caption Development
-Assist in developing creative and relevant social media captions and hashtags.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from any recognized university with business or any relevant disciplinary degree.
- Knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Familiarity with YouTube and its backend (YouTube Studio).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Bengali and English.
- Passion for children's education and entertainment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Preferred (but not required):
- Prior experience in video editing or managing a YouTube channel.
- Knowledge of graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Photoshop).
